Carolyn Wormser
Chief Innovation Officer
Carolyn Wormser is a recognized leader in special event permitting and municipal event management, with decades experience streamlining public agency permitting processes. As Chief Innovation Officer at Eproval, she helps cities and municipalities implement innovative technology solutions that enhance efficiency, transparency, and collaboration in special event, film, and other complex permitting.
Prior to joining Eproval, Carolyn served as the Director of Special Events and Filming for the City of San Diego for nearly 30 years, overseeing some of the nation’s largest and most complex public events, as well as thousands of community events that brought neighborhoods together and contributed to the city’s cultural and economic vibrancy.
For the past 25 years, Carolyn has also been an instructor with the Special Events Safety Seminar Series, sharing her expertise with public safety officials and event professionals on best practices in event management, permitting, and public safety. Her depth of experience and commitment to advancing best practices have made her a trusted resource for industry professionals.

Jonathan Thompson
Managing Director
Jonathan is a founder of Eproval who leads all corporate and business development activities. He is responsible for the overall revenue growth and go to market strategy of the company.
As a professional services and sales leader in enterprise software companies like Cognos, IBM, HP Software and Gartner, he has supported State and Local government customers for the past two decades.
A national cycling champion, he realized early in life what it takes to reach the highest level in sport both from an individual and team building perspective.
He continues this journey in building a world class team at Eproval with a goal of empowering clients to innovate and modernize processes and customer experiences.
Jonathan holds a bachelor of business administration from the University of New Brunswick.

Rene Michaely
Director of Technology
Rene is the original founder of Eproval and is responsible for product development and management.
He is also the chief product strategist of Eproval, leaning on his experience in a variety of roles over the past 20 years in the web development industry. This broad experience enables Rene to have a deep understanding of all aspects of web-based development and how they relate to the company vision and goals.
Rene is an avid outdoor enthusiast with a degree in Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.

Chief Marketing Officer
Les Jickling serves as Eproval’s Chief Marketing Officer. In this role he is responsible for developing and executing on Eproval’s marketing and communications strategy. With an impressive track record of results, he draws on more than 25 years of leadership experience working for companies of all sizes, from start-up to multinational, in the technology, biotechnology and healthcare sectors.
Les holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and in his spare time remains active in the community with various athletic pursuits and service organizations.

Robert Orr
Advisor
Robert Orr is a seasoned corporate development strategist with 20+ years of public practice and executive experience. Robert has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Victoria and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator. Currently, he is the President and CEO of Life360 Innovations, Inc. Prior to his current role, he was CFO and VP business development of a TSX listed mining company.
Before his executive roles in the industry, Robert was a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), providing complex financial advisory services that included fairness opinions, valuations, due diligence and buy/sell side advice to private/public companies and the public sector. Robert was also the HR partner for PwC’s Advisory practice in BC and worked as a tax advisor with Deloitte for the first half of his professional career.

Roger Kuypers
Advisor
Roger Kuypers is a partner in the Technology and Intellectual Property Practice Group of the international law firm Fasken Martineau LLP (Faskens). He works primarily with businesses and institutions focused on the development, acquisition and commercialization of intellectual property, including life sciences technologies, information technologies and trade-marks.
Roger is the regional Chair of Fasken’s Biotechnology and Life Sciences Practice group. His clients include biotechnology, medical device and pharmaceutical companies and health authorities. As well, Roger leads the Trade-marks Prosecution Group in the Vancouver office and assists clients with copyright and patent assignments.
